My name is Michael Massicotte and I am a student filmmaker studying at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema here in Quebec. I am making a 16mm short film. I believe our school has an agreement with Actra and we can supply such things as acting credits. The shoot will be the second (10th,11th) weekend of January 1010.
I am looking for a male and female of 65+
Here is the description:
An elderly couple sit opposite each other at a table next to a bright window. The scene takes place in an old, dusty kitchen. Since the window is the only apparent source of light, strong dark shadows and the presence of dust in the air fills the room. The woman stares unfixed out the window, while the man silently fills out his daily crossword. When the noise of bubbling is heard, the old woman slowly gets up and dishes out two bowls of soup. As they eat slowly and silently, the only sounds heard are the ticking from a clock, the clanging of spoons and the slurping of hot soup. The film continually jumps to a parallel scene of a young, enticing woman, who is walking down a long corridor with a door at the end, trying to get the camera to follow her. As the young woman brings the camera closer to the door, the sounds from inside the kitchen become increasingly louder. Eventually the door opens and the kitchen is revealed, but is empty.

I look forward to hearing from you!
